Our ASHP accredited PGY-2 psychiatric pharmacy program’s mission is to provide a diverse learning environment and structured program which will allow the resident to develop the competencies and proficient skills necessary to become a successful psychiatric pharmacist. Upon completion of this program, the pharmacist will be able to independently provide specialized pharmaceutical care to patients with psychiatric disorders in multi-disciplinary and collaborative settings. As a member of the pharmacy staff, the resident provides pharmaceutical care to Department of Mental Health clients in two state-operated facilities.
