UF Health Shands Hospital is externally recruiting actively for our PGY2 ASHP-accredited specialized residency programs in Critical Care and Infectious Disease for the 2022– 2023 residency year.
PGY2 Critical Care:The residency in Critical Care at UF Health Shands is designed to provide the resident specialized training in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients. The 12-month program is intended to prepare the resident for independent practice in the intensive care setting through direct patient care, didactic learning, and completion of longitudinal research. The resident has the opportunity to rotate through up to nine specialized adult intensive care units, the Adult Emergency/Level-I Trauma center, and a number of other elective opportunities.
