Dr. Yong (Tiger) Zhangâs laboratory of the Department of Pharmacology & Pharmaceutical Sciences at USC Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associates to conduct research on protein post-translational modifications, antibody engineering, and preclinical design of chemotherapeutic and immunotherapeutic agents to treat cancer, immune disorders, and infectious diseases.
Strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry is preferred. The individual should be highly self-motivated and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Research experience in molecular cloning and cell culturing is required. Knowledge of flow cytometry, cell imaging, and animal models is a plus.
Minimum Education: Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field.
Preferred Experience:Â Â Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences experience preferred.
The annual base salary range for this position is $64,480 - $66,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidateâs work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
