GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:The Lagier-Tourenne Laboratory in the Department of Neurology at Mass General Hospital investigates the molecular mechanisms driving neurodegeneration in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Dr. Lagier-Tourenne has established collaborations with academic and pharmaceutical partners to develop novel approaches to therapy, including gene therapies with antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) and immunotherapies for ALS and FTD.
