Position Summary Michigan State University Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences seeks two postdoctoral research associates to conduct EPA- and USDA-funded projects to study the occurrence, sorption, transport, plant uptake and risk assessment of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs). The research includes the studies on analysis of PFAS and PPCPs in biosolids, sorption and transport in soils, plant uptake of PFAS and PPCPs, and the associated risk assessment. The experiments will be conducted in laboratory, greenhouse, and field trial plots.
