The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie Murphy Hospital in affiliation with The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy offers a PGY2 residency with experienced faculty in pain management and palliative care. This comprehensive post-doctoral clinical pharmacy training program is designed to develop autonomous pain management and palliative care clinical pharmacy specialists by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge into the provision of advanced patient care.  Residents who successfully complete this program are prepared for board certification, advanced practice settings, and academic or other specialized careers.   Intended outcomes of the program include: function as an integral member of the interdisciplinary
