The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey welcomes applications for a full-time, Clinical Assistant Professor faculty position (non-tenure). The faculty member will hold a joint clinical appointment in Cystic Fibrosis / Amb Care with Atlantic Health System.

The Ambulatory Care Specialist will be an integral part of the dynamic interprofessional Atlantic Health team. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive medication management in cystic fibrosis and primary care clinics, with practice locations near Morristown Medical Center. The faculty member will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension in collaboration with Atlantic Medical Group practitioners participating in the Cardiometabolic Center Alliance. A unique highlight is their participation in a specialized multidisciplinary cystic fibrosis (CF) clinic care team within an accredited CF Care Center. There, they will provide pharmacotherapeutic services to pediatric and adult CF patients by ensuring optimal medication use, supporting adherence, and actively contributing to individualized care plans. The faculty member will be expected to provide education to pharmacy and medical staff. Additionally, they will serve as a preceptor for the Atlantic Health PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program. The faculty member will have both didactic and experiential teaching responsibilities for the School of Pharmacy. They will actively participate in committees within both the health system and Rutgers, engage in health system collaboratives, and act as a liaison with the acute care facilities.
Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and have completed at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience.
