The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital (MHSW) provides a comprehensive educational and practical experience that develops competent clinicians in a multi-site community hospital practice setting. MHSW is part of the largest hospital system in Houston and is the primary site for the residency program. Rotations and activities include, but are not limited to, experiences at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR), Physicians at Sugar Creek and the Southwest Food and More Market.  Rotations are divided into 12 blocks throughout the one-year residency program. Required rotations consist of: General Medicine, Cardiology, Internal Medicine (choice between Neurology and Neuro-Rehab), Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Emergency Medi
