Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is a 622 bed tertiary care academic medical center which offers postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency training. We not only serve the local community, including underserved populations, but we also care for a diverse international patient population. CCHMC and its employees champion diversity, equity and inclusion, and live it out every day. The goal of the PGY1 residency program is to train pharmacists to be competent in providing direct patient care to a variety of pediatric patient populations. Individuals completing the residency program will have the skills needed to complete a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pediatrics or to practice as a decentralized staff pharmacist in a pediatric setting.
