PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center (PHSHMC) offers a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) residency program with rotations in Springfield, Oregon. Training experiences are individualized based on existing resident competencies and personal interests. The purpose of a PGY1 pharmacy residency program is to build on the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. This residency program is specifically designed to train pharmacists who wish to practice as an integrated professional on the healthcare team. Resid
