The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program builds on pharmacy education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program with an emphasis in Ambulatory Care delivers organized postgraduate training designed to accommodate the needs of individual residents. Over the course of twelve months, the resident will develop expert skills and competency in providing pharmaceutical care to a variety of patient populations.
