Position SummaryThe Pharmacy Buyer primarily supports the purchasing of medications and medication-related supplies to support medication management practices throughout all Phoenix Children’s sites of care. This role collaborates with hospital, ambulatory, and pharmacy colleagues to ensure medications are procured in a timely and compliant manner. The Pharmacy Buyer also interacts with pharmacy vendors to establish accounts, review purchasing metrics and trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings. The Pharmacy Buyer receives supervision of work activities from departmental pharmacy leaders; this role does not supervise any other position.
