Career potential!The Adult Pulmonary Function Practice (APFP) is a diagnostic clinical service and provides pulmonary testing for both inpatients and outpatients referred by UCSF physicians as well as physicians from Northern California and western states. The Airway Clinical Research Center (ACRC) conducts clinical trials sponsored by the National Institutes of Health; through the Asthma Clinical Research Network and the COPD Clinical Research Network, as well as investigator-initiated studies supported by grants and pharmaceutical companies.
