THE ROLE We are a wellness program delivered via a comprehensive app that incorporates biology and behavior to achieve sustainable weight loss and improved overall wellbeing.
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead the company into its next phase of growth and commercialization. As a trailblazer in the wellness industry, we are committed to revolutionizing weight loss and overall well-being by focusing on metabolic health, an approach that has set us apart in the market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully scaling innovative health and wellness technologies, guiding teams, raising funds, and executing strategic initiatives.
Key Organizational Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the commercialization and scaling of our wellness program, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and long-term goals. • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, expanding our reach both regionally and globally. • Team Leadership: Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. • Financial Oversight: Manage the company’s financial health, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and ensuring profitability as the company scales. • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead fundraising efforts to secure capital for growth, engaging with investors, venture capital firms, and other funding sources to drive the company’s financial growth and strategic initiatives. • Partnerships & Collaborations: Establish and nurture key strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, technology companies, and other industry stakeholders to drive growth and increase market share. • Product Development & Innovation: Oversee the continuous improvement and evolution of our app and wellness program, ensuring it stays ahead of trends in the wellness and health tech space. • Brand & Public Relations: Represent us in the media, at industry events, and in front of key stakeholders, establishing the company as a thought leader in the wellness and metabolic health industries. • Customer-Centric Growth: Ensure that customer feedback and insights are central to product development and marketing, enhancing user experience and ensuring high retention rates. • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that the company complies with relevant health regulations and effectively manages risks associated with the business.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and performance data to inform business decisions, measure success, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. • CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate for the CEO role will be an accomplished leader with a proven track record of successfully scaling innovative health and wellness companies. They will possess deep experience in the health tech or wellness sectors, with a strong understanding of metabolic health, consumer behavior, and the broader health and wellness landscape. This candidate will have a demonstrated ability to drive
commercialization strategies, manage complex business operations, and lead high- performing teams. They should be comfortable navigating both startup environments and
scaling to enterprise-level growth.
In addition, the CEO will be an exceptional communicator and relationship-builder, with a natural ability to foster strong partnerships with investors, healthcare providers, and industry leaders. They will have a history of successful fundraising and securing investment to fuel company growth, alongside a passion for leveraging data and innovation to improve consumer health outcomes. The ideal candidate will also be a visionary, capable of balancing the day-to-day management of the company with the long-term strategic goals necessary for continued success.
