SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department of Pharmacy management team, performs the functions of a pharmacist to ensure that the patient is provided quality pharmaceutical care. Also, supervises and directs pharmacy technicians in achieving departmental goals. In absence of pharmacy management, may be required to assume essential responsibilities of pharmacy management. Position will work collaboratively with the healthcare team in day to day operations and direct patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient oncology settings, participating in all aspects of patient care.
