Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla is a 427-bed hospital that offers a PGY2 in cardiology. Scripps La Jolla is home of the Prebys Cardiovascular Institute and is San Diego's largest heart care provider which includes an advanced heart failure program including ventricular assist device (VAD) and ECMO. The cardiology and heart surgery programs at Scripps La Jolla hospitals are consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the best in the nation and in San Diego. The hospital is also a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Salary and Benefits
Stipend is $60,320 (estimated gross annual salary is $70,000 including paid overtime on staffing weekends). Benefits include health, dental, and vision. Fifteen days paid time off and professional travel reimbursement are also provided.

• Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy, successfully complete PGY1 Pharmacy Residency • California intern license by July 1st • Participate in National Matching Services (NMS) match • Submit a letter of intent (250-word maximum) • Provide a curriculum vitae • Submit College of pharmacy transcripts • Three letters of recommendation
Our residency program offers four, acute care PGY1 pharmacy residency positions, a PGY2 in Cardiology and a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases at Scripps Memorial Hospital based in La Jolla, California. It is a program designed to develop clinical skills in the acute care setting through the practice of evidence-based medicine and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
