Providence Holy Family Hospital is a community-based acute care hospital with an ASHP accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program with two residents. Residents work in a patient centered learning environment to receive a well-rounded education and encounter a diverse patient population with predominantly acute care rotations as well as ambulatory experiences. Residents participate in daily clinical activities, pharmacy administrative functions, drug distribution/operations, and manage a long-term project related to pharmacy practice. Graduating residents will be qualified to pursue careers as clinical pharmacists or assume positions as clinical faculty at a college of pharmacy and be prepared to obtain board certification.
