The ASHP accredited postgraduate program at Cone Health- Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC) offers an exceptional residency experience that gives residents the opportunity to further strengthen their knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients. The program is designed to develop leadership skills, clinical expertise, communication, and project management skills under the mentorship of dedicated preceptors.
Residency training at ARMC includes unique, well-rounded practice experiences in inpatient acute care and at affiliated ambulatory care sites throughout our community. Residents in this program will be integrated into our interdisciplinary patient care teams, engage in teaching and precepting experiences, and conduct IRB-approved research with the goal to improve pharmaceutical care within our institution.
Our preceptors are committed to developing strong foundations of lifelong learning and teaching in our residents. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive environment and the tools necessary for residents to achieve their professional long-term goals. The community atmosphere and focus on collaboration, teamwork, and optimizing patient care throughout our hospital creates the ideal learning environment for residents.

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited PharmD program and eligible for licensure in the state of NC. Cone Health does not provide visa sponsorship for pharmacy residents. Apply using the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS). Three references should be completed.
