Job Description
Pharmacists successfully completing a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota will be a proficient informaticist capable of analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of technologies that enhance medication therapy outcomes, improve pharmaceutical care, and optimize medication management supporting systems. Required experiences offered in inpatient and outpatient settings include Analytics and Process Improvement, Clinical Decision Support, Core Medication Use Process, and Health System Technologies and Applications. Additional longitudinal rotations and electives are tailored based on the resident’s interests. A quality improvement project, research project and online staffing required.
Residency is primarily remote with approximately 1-2 weeks on site at the start and 1 week at the end of residency. Staffing is done in reporting and analytics.
