Dear Prospective Candidate,
The USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers a PGY2 residency program in infectious diseases pharmacy. The goal of the residency program is to advance the evidence-based knowledge, skills and abilities of the resident in clinical practice, teaching and scholarly activities through formal training. Residents take part in the preceptorship and didactic curriculum of students in the Pharm.D. program. Upon completion of training, each resident should be well equipped to pursue an infectious diseases clinical career or clinical-track academic position.
Applicants must have obtained a Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited program or one in the process of pursuing accreditation, have completed an ASHP-accredited or candidate status PGY1 pharmacy residency, and be licenses or eligible for licensure in the state of California.
Interested candidates should submit a current CV and reason why you are interested in pursuing residency training with the PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy program. Yessenia Alvarado, Residency Programs Coordinator, will contact you to schedule an interview with the Residency Program Director.
