The PGY-2 Residency Program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists provides a set of standards that guides the program and outlines goals and objectives that are to successfully completed in order to graduate with a certificate. The program builds upon the PGY1 training to develop advanced skills in the area of specialty including: patient care, drug information and pharmacy administration. Resident also provide specialized pharmaceutical care to ensure safe, cost effective and rational drug therapy for patients. They are also required to comply with their entity’s Pharmacy Residency Manual and other departmental policies in order to receive their PGY-2 certificate.
Resident graduated from an accredited pharmacy school. Resident must have also completed a PGY-1 in a ASHP accredited healthcare institution.

Our Corporate Residency Director oversees our PGY-1 and PGY-2 (Oncology, IDS, Cardiology, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, Infectious Diseases, Informatics) pharmacy residency programs with 30 current residency positions and will expand into other specialty areas. A combined PGY1/PGY2 Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency is also available. We are known for having a high post-residency retention rate because of the support provided to the residents.
