As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a highly motivated Retail Sales Account Manager to join our sales team.
Summary/Objective:
As a Retail Sales Account Manager at R&S Northeast, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy by identifying and nurturing relationships with retail pharmacies. This position requires a blend of proactive prospecting and maintaining strong partnerships with existing clients. You will be responsible for driving sales, meeting targets, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our valued pharmacy partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and research potential retail pharmacy clients in the designated territory.
Initiate outbound cold calls and email outreach to introduce our products and services.
Customize sales presentations to showcase the benefits and value propositions of our offerings.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of potential clients.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing retail pharmacy accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for account-related inquiries and support.
Ensure that clients receive exceptional service, address their concerns promptly, and work to exceed their expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and resolve issues effectively.
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Continuously monitor progress towards targets, making necessary adjustments to the sales approach.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the sales management team.
Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings.
Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, demonstrating the ability to articulate their features and benefits to potential and existing clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven track record in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in prospecting and account management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned territory.
Travel Frequent travel is requirement for this position and will consist of local travel during the business day in addition to out-of-the-area and overnight travel. Travel up to 25% should be expected.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during day shift hours. Some extended hours or weekends may be required based on business needs.
