The Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics track of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy is seeking applications from highly motivated Pharm.D. graduates interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in translational research. This training program integrates pharmacologic and pharmacotherapeutic knowledge gained by graduate coursework and trains the student in basic and translational science. Students will obtain competency in the foundational knowledge and principles of research processes as they focus on developing a project in a chosen therapeutic area, including substance use disorders, metabolic diseases, infectious diseases, immunological diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, neuroscience, and oncology. Accepted students are supported with a competitive annual stipend, plus paid tuition and health insurance.
