POST-DOCTORAL PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP – Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, has over 40 years of expertise in offering innovative Post-Doctoral Pharm.D. Fellowships that provide extensive training in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. This 2-year Fellowship position is a joint effort between the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships (RPIF) and AstraZeneca. Program emphasis is in US Promotional Regulatory Affairs, US Medical Affairs.
This 2-year Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to become a high-performing Promotional Regulatory Affairs professional with the ability to provide FDA promotional regulatory risk assessment of US promotional materials, disease awareness, launch strategy and preparation, and key claims to help the business meet their objectives for marketed and pipeline products across therapeutic areas, while complying with FDA laws and regulations.
The Fellow will serve as a member of the Promotional Regulatory Affairs team, working directly with a cross-functional review team to provide promotional regulatory guidance and review of promotional materials to ensure they comply with regulations and internal/external guidance. The Fellow will develop an understanding of FDA promotional regulations and guidance documents that govern prescription drug promotion and their application in the review of US promotional materials. The Fellow will actively contribute to promotional regulatory affairs activities related to the internal review and risk mitigation associated with promotional materials for AstraZeneca products across therapeutic areas. The fellowship will ensure a foundational Promotional Regulatory experience, offering hands-on training, specific project-driven responsibilities, and exposure to diverse opportunities

The RPIF Program application portal opens at 9 AM ET on October 11th. Initial interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis virtually (video conference) starting October 21st. To apply, candidates MUST use the RPIF website (http://pharmafellows.rutgers.edu/how-to-apply/) to create a RPIF Candidate Account and upload the required application materials by the dates noted below. Remember that the application process is on a rolling basis, so earlier is better. Please see our website for additional important recruitment information and dates.
Initial offers will not be made until December 16th, the AIFA (Alliance of Industry Fellowship Associates) consensus date for first offers. Once all interviews have been completed, RPIF or the company will notify interviewed candidates of their position-specific candidacy status.
