PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency
The PGY2 Infectious Diseases (ID) Pharmacy Residency at UW Medicine is a ASHP-accredited PGY2 program, which provides twelve months of training designed to develop and refine the skills necessary to make and monitor therapeutic interventions for the safe and efficacious use of drug therapy in patients with infectious diseases. The rotations range from traditional inpatient ID consult services to outpatient hepatitis/HIV clinics and emergency medicine rotation focused on antimicrobial stewardship. The diverse patient populations at UW hospitals and multitude of seasoned clinicians sets this program apart from others.
