The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital are ASHP accredited programs emphasizing clinical pharmacy practice and its relationship to the total health system. The residency provides a framework for the practitioner to develop the skills necessary for providing pharmaceutical care in a variety of different health care settings.
There are two pharmacy resident positions available to eligible candidates at each site.
Academic: The applicant must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college or pharmacy
Professional License: All residents must be eligible for Florida licensure. Selected and matched residents must be licensed by August 1st.
Interview: An on-site or virtual interview is required. Interviews are conducted during the months of January and February.
Non-Resident Alien Applicants: To be considered for employment, you must presently have an employment authorization that is valid throughout the residency period. We do not sponsor international visas.
