The University of Colorado Hospital is a 703-bed tertiary care facility / Level I Trauma Center located in the Denver metro area with a focus on critical care, cancer research, solid organ and bone marrow transplantation, HIV/AIDS research, and infectious diseases. Pharmacy services are decentralized, serving patients from numerous outpatient and inpatient satellites. Use of automation exposes the resident to an integrated model of patient care that emphasizes clinical services. Our close affiliation with the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences gives the resident an excellent opportunity to interact with faculty in advanced practice roles. PGY2 opportunities available through partnership with the School of Pharmacy including: ambulatory care, critical care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, solid organ transplant, and oncology. PGY2 programs listed separately. We offer a PGY1/PGY2 combination program in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL). This program is listed separately.
Applicants must be a PharmD graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy and must be eligible for and obtain licensure in Colorado. The application deadline is Jan. 3, 2025.
