Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of Pharm.D. graduates. Critical to the success of the program is our ability to prepare Fellows to meet the ongoing workforce needs in various areas of industry.
Our program gives fellows an opportunity to work with our innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners while collaborating with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, service, scholarship, and teaching.
In partnership with Northeastern University, GSK is offering a two-year Global Medical Information Pharm.D. fellowship based in Waltham MA, Philadelphia, PA or Collegeville, PA.

Responsibilities:
The Global Medical Information Fellow will be immersed in Global Medical Information Center of Excellence activities across multiple oncology assets. While this fellowship focuses on learning the fundamentals of Medical Information within oncology, the fellow will have opportunities to rotate across other therapeutic areas in Medical Information based on interest and availability.

Support of Congresses and Staffing Medical Information Booth

Precept APPE Students from Northeastern University, School of Pharmacy
Example job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop cross-functional relationships across the organization through implementation of the Global Medical Strategy; including collaboration with Legal, Medical Affairs, and Value Evidence and Outcomes (VEO) teams for content creation
Evaluate medical literature to develop standard and custom response letters, slide decks, and infographics for external healthcare providers.
Provide medical review of scientific engagement material (non-promotional) and commercial (promotional) material
Develop pre- and post-authorization payer dossiers and submissions to compendia and pathway organizations
Attend major medical congresses, sessions, and medical education symposia and provide summary and insight reports; engage with healthcare providers at medical booths
Assist with the availability and accessibility of medical congress materials, including key scientific posters and presentations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on key digital initiatives
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution, eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the US.
Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at the industry site and Northeastern.
