This residency is an intensive 12-month program that will provide the resident with a wide variety of pediatric and neonatal experiences ensuring the development of knowledge and skills required to provide expert pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients. Required rotations include orientation, project month, general pediatrics, PICU, NICU, pediatric hematology/oncology, and pediatric emergency medicine or toxicology. Administration/Leadership, education, service (staffing), research and an ambulatory care component are year-long longitudinal experiences incorporated throughout the residency year.
