The HealthTrust/University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy PGY-2 Corporate
Pharmacy Leadership Residency Program is designed to prepare the resident to function
in a pharmacy leadership environment within a healthcare organization. The resident will
interact with corporate leaders from several health systems and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Focusing on optimizing patient care, the resident will acquire the leadership skills to strategically set business goals and priorities for executing tasks at the corporate level. 

The resident will have experiences in drug sourcing and contracting, clinical and operational strategies, analytics, new member integration, leadership development, budgeting and financial training, account management, drug information, and options for two electives. 

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Active pharmacist licensure in any US state
• Applicants are accepted through the ASHP Matching Program only

• Personal statement/letter of intent
• Curriculum vitae
• Official pharmacy school transcripts
• Three letters of reference
• Completion of PGY-1 accredited pharmacy residency program
