Residents will have a unique experience as this residency combines an ASHP Residency Excellence Award (2015) PGY1 program with robust management/leadership experiences as part of a large integrated health-system. Clinical strengths of the program include internal medicine, oncology, critical care, cardiology, infectious diseases, nutrition support, neonatal care, pediatrics, primary care, ambulatory geriatrics, home services/hospice, and anticoagulation management. The University of Providence School of Health Professions is proud to offer an innovative platform that allows residents in the Providence Health and Services Oregon combined PGY1/PGY2 program to simultaneously enroll for the MHA degree. The program is designed to take advantage of efficiencies in both the residency and MHA programs. The MHA is fully funded by the residency program.
