Sarepta is on an urgent mission: engineer precision genetic medicine for rare diseases that devastate lives and cut futures short. The Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellow will join the Sarepta Global Scientific Communications (Sci Comms) team for a two-year commitment. The aim of the Sarepta Global Sci Comms team is to develop and execute a holistic strategic communication plan that acts to support Sarepta's platforms and programs by building timely, balanced, evidence-based, scientific narratives that provide clear and consistent content for a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders.

This fellowship program is designed to give the fellow in-depth experience within Sci Comms to collaborate with internal cross functional teams and liaise with external experts on key company initiatives. Unique to this program, the fellow will be immersed in publication and medical communication activities related to clinical and health economics and outcomes research, as well as real-world evidence in the gene therapy space. The Sarepta Sci Comms fellow can expect to support efforts to drive the strategic dissemination of data across a wide range of channels by leading diverse projects over the two-year program based on business needs and their interests.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Drive the development of select scientific publications (abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts) in adherence to good publication practices and review draft publications for scientific quality, and data accuracy
• Develop medical field decks, booth collateral, and symposia content in line with the platform strategic imperatives
• Support the development or maintenance of scientific communication platforms to ensure consistency in messaging across the entire organization
• Obtain cross-functional alignment across relevant internal stakeholders and ensure coordination of the review, approval, and other applicable activities related to the development of scientific communications and publications
• Collaborate with medical communication agencies on the timely execution of publication, congress, and medical communication plans
• Identify and propose innovative solutions to resolve issues or improve efficiencies in current processes

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution, eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts.

Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at the industry site and Northeastern.
