At Labcorp Drug Development in Eye, Suffolk we are looking to recruit a Laboratory Analyst to join our experienced Physico Chemical Testing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chemists in an established physico-chemical testing laboratory. Whilst receiving training in the laboratory methods and techniques required to evaluate the individual properties of a chemical you will also develop a knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and its importance in regulatory studies.
Job responsibilities include:
Physico-chemical properties testing
Shelf-life stability testing
Instrumental analysis
Recording actions and observations in accordance with GLP
Data processing and interpretation

Education:
BSc in Chemistry or related subject
All training provided however the successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Knowledge in the use of standard laboratory equipment
A genuine interest in science and analysis
Proficiency with I.T and computer software packages such as excel
Good numeracy
Organised and self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative once trained
Any knowledge and/or experience with HPLC or GC in a GLP environment advantageous
