The PGY1 residency is a 53 week continuum in which residents will complete a department orientation, followed by a series of experiential rotations, each lasting 4 to 5 weeks. Various longitudinal learning activities are coordinated throughout the year.  Residents will be responsible for completing a research project and presenting at ASHP Midyear meeting in December and Eastern States Regional Residency Conference in May.  Residents will be afforded the opportunity to participate in a teaching certificate program at no cost offered by the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University.  Capital Health is located in central New Jersey and offers a wide variety of clinical services including amongst others cardiac care, neurologic care, surgical/ trauma , hemodialysi
