The PGY1 / PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is a 24-month post-Doctor of Pharmacy training program that fulfills the requirements of both a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and a PGY2 HSPAL Residency. HSPAL residents will further cultivate their leadership and administrative skills by completing a two-year Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of North Carolina (UNC), Eshelman School of Pharmacy.  PGY1  During the resident’s PGY1 year, the individual will be part of the HUP PGY1 cohort to develop a solid clinical foundation and service line knowledge.
