Children's Mercy offers one postgraduate year-two (PGY2) position. The PGY2 program meets the requirements of applicable standards set forth and approved by ASHP for a residency and has received American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accreditation. The PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of pediatric clinical pharmacists.
