McKesson is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst, Consolidation and Reporting to be based in Richmond, VA
Position Description Responsible for the preparation and review of financial reporting, consolidation of monthly forecast and annual Long Range Plan and Budget. In addition, this person supports completion of all internal finance presentations and deliverables used by the President/CFO of MedSurg, the MedSurg communications team, as well as the corporate FP&A teams.
Coordinate with FP&A leaders on deliverables, forecast, Long Range Plan, and annual Plan
Summarize consolidated financial results, forecast, and plan
Drive improvements and automation in finance processes, reporting, and analytics
Use trend analysis to proactively recognize and act on observed trends
Develop partnerships both within and outside of finance across multiple levels of the organization
Executive reporting and presentations
Other analytics, projects, and requests on an ad-hoc basis
5-7 years finance, accounting, or other analytical experience
5+ years finance experience
3+ years experience working with financial statements
3+ years generating management reports
3+ years generating financial models
Intermediate to Advance user of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel (v-lookups, formulas, pivot tables)
Experience with JDE, Essbase, SAP, or other large ERP systems will be critical.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and cross-functional projects in a complex service environment
Highly analytical with ability to succinctly summarize data from multiple sources
Strong presentation skills and executive presence
Attention to detail, accuracy, tying things out
Positive attitude and team player mindset
FP&A experience, to include budgeting, forecasting, annual plan, long range plan
Comfortable working with ambiguity
Understanding of core accounting concepts (GAAP)
MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
