Value Based Care Program Leader Job Description The Value Based Care Program Leader will report to the VP of Clinical Strategy & Technology Solutions and works closely with the leaders of Clinical Programs, Marketing, and Technology teams. This role is key in ensuring that all value-based care products and services offered to Cardinal Health specialty customers are based on a deep working knowledge of VBC reimbursement models and executed to advance quality outcomes for our customers and their patients.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for deepening our Value Based Care Program, supporting Value-Based Agreements (VBA) with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Payers, and providing guidance to the Navista TS portfolio. Focus areas include:
Thought Leadership
Industry Engagement (CMS, ASCO, AVBCC, COA, ACCC, AJMC, etc.)
Practice Engagement with CQO/Quality Leaders
Sales Support for Navista TS
Advise Navista TS Product teams on Analytics for APMs and MIPs
Support VBA development with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Payers
Identifies customer problems and translates market and customer needs into commercial solutions offerings with defensible differentiation and competitive advantages.
Leverages cross-functional teams and external solution/service providers to develop integrated solutions and service offerings.
Understands and drives solutions/service features, functions, benefits and pricing strategies, in collaboration with finance and customer engagement teams.
Leverages methodology to drive innovation and develop consistent deliverables throughout the solutions development lifecycle incorporating necessary cross-functional input options analysis for management decisions.
Manages overall solutions/services portfolio.
Develops and tracks strategic metrics to measure solutions/services effectiveness, profitability and impact and uses learnings to refine solutions/services offering.
Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in a related field preferred
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred
Experience as a Chief Quality Officer or Quality Leader in VBC or have had ownership of value based care programs in health systems or community practices preferred
Experience creating, driving and executing Value Based Care Program strategy
Experiencing supporting value based care growth & strategy and the evolution of product, services and technology
Experience navigating a matrixed organization and collaborating with multiple cross functional teams and levels of employees and/or customers
Strong executive presence and influential leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to drive change and increase performance to deliver consistent quality results
Strong presentation skills with the ability to present on large platforms
Ability to travel ~ 25% - 30%
