Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

We currently have a career opening for a Sr Engineer, SAP Master data based in our Dublin, Ohio location with possibility for remote work.
The scope of this role is to provide subject matter expertise as part of the Master Data Management organization within Cardinal Health's Pharmaceutical Segment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong information technology background related to supporting multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Expert level SAP functional configuration in Material, Customer, and supplier master data
Work with in BRF+ (Business Rule Frameworks), building Rule Based Workflow services, User-Exits, BADIs and enhancement framework to coordinate and work with the developers
Work with SAP MDG & ECC systems with Integration to other Systems
Expert level functional configuration in Material, Supplier and Customer domains
Provide enterprise solutions in master data space
Experience in designing global and enterprise solutions
Experience with FIORI app design and build
Development/Troubleshooting SAP ABAP code
Prior build experience with APIs and integrations.
Working experience with middleware tools like SAP PO, Dell Boomi, Kafka, APIGEE, IBM Message Broker, SLT is nice to have
Qualifications
8-12 years of experience preferred
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred
Experience/competency in multiple Software/Information platform technology domains preferred
Provides technical leadership in one or more areas preferred
Seen as team 'expert' preferred
Experience in Master Data Management preferred
Hands-on 4+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance and S4 HANA preferred
Enterprise SAP MDG Implementation experience preferred
