Job Overview

In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day.
The College of Medicine, Office of Clinical Research, is seeking to fill a Clinical Research Recruitment Administrator - COM position to assist the research community in the development of recruitment and marketing materials and processes to increase study participant accruals.
Essential Functions
Advise, support, guide and provide consultation to faculty, physicians and department administrators as well as research community on specific research administration activities and services as needed.
Design materials, provide recruitment platform administration, and develop marketing materials and communications through various channels including social media.
Provide administrative assistance to the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) and University of Cincinnati (UC) and UC Health (UCH) research community with typical administrative duties such as phone calls, appointments, meeting minutes, ordering supplies, various research related to reporting needs.
Serve as a resource to the research community related to processes and workflows associated with clinical research and recruitment at UC and UCH.
Maintain working knowledge of clinical research processes within the Office of Clinical Research as well as clinical research departments; work with all ancillary services and departments related to clinical research and human subject research.
Participate in training related to all aspects of clinical research and human subject research.
Assist the research community in recruiting participants for research; suggest best practices related to recruitment.
Collaborate with marketing departments related to recruitment and marketing activities.
Maintain external recruitment platforms to assist the research community with searching for new study participants.
Support development opportunities in clinical trials by identifying and learning new technology and platforms.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law or Healthcare Management.
Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of experience in business operations, healthcare, pharmaceutical or academic environment.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Possess broad and deep knowledge of clinical research in an institutional setting.
Extensive knowledge of clinical trials processes and research participant recruitment.
Social media marketing knowledge and experience.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Strong analytical, problem solving, organization skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
