DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Purchasing Manager, the Pharmacy Procurement Analyst responsibilities include (but not limited to): system management of Pharmacy Purchasing Analytic software, performing in depth real time purchasing and contract analysis to assist the hospital pharmacy buyers in meeting contract compliance goals, achieving cost savings opportunities and maximize product standardization. The analyst will also work with our 340B team and inpatient buyers as a resource for interventions pertaining to ordering, price verification, contract compliance, 340B compliance, and inventory management. The staff will be involved as a resource for the Epic team in price file management.
The Procurement Analyst also works with the pharmaceutical wholesalers to identify cost saving opportunities through product selection, contract load review and tracking credit /rebill.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
Three (3+) or more years of relevant experience.
Experience and proven success in evaluating the quality and cost effectiveness of multiple and complex purchasing options.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)issued by PTCB.
Experience with EPIC.
Experience with Pharmacy purchasing.

Pay Transparency Act Full Salary Range: $53,600 - $111,600 Annually
