Position Summary:
The UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) is seeking a Staff Assistant to support the school's global and community outreach activities. As an active member of the outreach team, you will provide administrative support to the Director of Global and Community Outreach and Director of the UB Center for Integrated Global Biomedical Sciences (CIGBS).
Job Duties will include:
Communication with internal/external partners in support of global and community outreach activities
Program coordination for local and global trainees, partner institutions and training sites
Track and maintain necessary documents for programs
Micro-credential/Digital Badge oversight
Provide budget and fiscal oversight for programs
Required skills and abilities:
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written, active listening and critical thinking.
Ability to communicate and operate effectively in a diverse community of students and faculty.
Candidate must be able to balance multiple projects and other responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail while meeting appropriate deadlines and timeframes.
Demonstrate flexibility and strong work ethic, work independently and exercise good judgement and follow through.
Strong organizational and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
