As a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant in the Ryan White HIV Specialty Clinic, youâ™ll work with or Medical Director other Nurse Practitioners to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day youâ™ll collaborate with an LCSW, an MA, and 2 RNs
You would practice the St. Maryâ™s Family Medicine Residency Clinic in Grand Junction, CO
Your schedule will be flexible, 18 patient contact hours in 5 half days.
In this line of work every day is different, thatâ™s why youâ™ll need to know how to:
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens
Refer patients to specialists, and to relevant patient care components
Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required
We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
NP or PA License
1-2 Years Experience in Family Medicine
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete St. Maryâ™s credentialing process
