The Research Finance Analyst for School of Medicine's Center for Clinical Research will be responsible for assisting in the financial management of the school's clinical trials. Incumbent will assist the finance team in the management of department accounts, conducting independent analyses of data and maintaining data integrity across all institutional systems. Position entails policy analysis and interpretation, and problem-solving requiring interaction with administrators, faculty, staff, vendors, and visitors. Duties include: general ledger entry and audit, data maintenance, data analysis, account reconciliation, purchasing and reimbursement. Incumbent will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with sponsor and University policy/agreements.

$21.02 - $37.31 (hourly)
Required:
1-2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or administration
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to function as a member of a team. Basic knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Basic knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems. Basic interpersonal skills; broad service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail.
Under management guidance, uses organizational skills to multi-task in a high volume environment. Basic proficiency using spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Acquiring ability to gather reasonably retrievable information to organize and perform basic financial analysis assignments.
