St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT is a community teaching hospital with a Level II trauma center and an inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, CT. St. Vincent’s provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services with regional centers of excellence in cardiology, surgery, cancer care, orthopedics, diagnostics, women’s and family services, behavioral health, senior health, and an array of specialized services. St. Vincent’s recently joined the Hartford Healthcare family in 2019
This ASHP accredited one-year residency program utilizes a systems approach to facilitate the development of new pharmacists into competent practitioners able to provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care. Our program fosters the residents’ ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, develop strong leadership skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and become a lifelong, self-directed learner. The foundation of the program is built upon Hartford Healthcare core values of Caring, Safety, Excellence and Integrity.
