University of Utah Health PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy
Program Description The solid organ transplant program is an organized, directed, and accredited postgraduate training program specifically designed to develop a high-level clinical practitioner. The program provides advanced training to a clinical pharmacist to assure that excellent pharmaceutical care is provided to solid organ transplant recipients in both the acute care and ambulatory care settings. The resident serves as a liaison between the surgery, nephrology, hepatology, cardiology, pulmonology services and the department of pharmacy services. Additionally the resident will develop skills as an educator, clinical researcher, and published writer.
