Conceptualizes, plans, implements and directs the provision of pharmaceutical care through clinical pharamcy services, with an emphasis on adult inpatient services. This position will work directly with the Chief Pharmacy Officer to prioritize work in alignment with the OHSU Partners Strategy, OHSU Enterprise Strategy, and Pharmacy Departmental Strategy. This position is responsible for the identification, development and implementation of innovative, systematic, safe and timely solutions which continually improve the quality of patient care services and systems. Assures appropriate level of program offerings, access, and consistent levels of service quality, regulatory compliance and fiscal performance.

• Pharmacy, BS, MS, PhD, PharmD
• Masters or Pharmacy Residency + 2 yrs work in hospital pharmacy
• 2 yrs of relevant leadership/supervisory experience
• Licensed Pharmacist in Oregon - Pharmacist License
• Pharmacy critical care
• Communication, written and verbal
• Supervision experience
• Contemporary Practice of Pharmacy
• Ability to spend a significant amount of time at a computer terminal
• Must deal with situations on a daily basis with a high degree of intensity
• Ability to deal with frequent interruptions (work is often dictated by external factors) that may lead to mental fatigue or stress
• Standing, walking, stooping or crouching, reaching, talking and hearing
• Clarity of vision at 20 feet and 20 inches or less. Adjustment of eye to bring object into sharp focus
• Ability to handle 1 5 pounds by hand continuously
• Telephone, copier, fax, personal computer/terminal, common application software
