Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a full-time Medication Safety, Quality and Regulatory Pharmacy Supervisor.
Position Details:
The Medication Safety, Quality and Regulatory Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for medication quality and safety programs, developing error-prevention strategies, and facilitating compliance with all aspects of state and federal regulations. Examples include Board of Pharmacy, Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, etc. The Supervisor collaborates with pharmacy leadership, pharmacy coworkers, nursing, providers, and ancillary services to monitor, develop, and adhere to regulatory and medication safety standards. The Supervisor is responsible for external and inter-department coordination and integration of pharmacy related information systems technology and solution development. The Supervisor serves as the expert in interpreting regulation, approach problem solving from a system engineering perspective and applies best practices across the enterprise with the patient at the center of care.

Position Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution and have completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency or have equivalent hospital practice experience. A PGY2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy Residency or equivalent medication safety/regulatory experience preferred. Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana is required. Candidates must have a high level of clinical practice skills, enthusiasm for teaching, and the interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with students, health professionals, and patients.
