Abbott Ireland Financial Services Cherrywood Dublin
Abbott's EMEA Finance Shared Services center commenced operations in Cherrywood, Dublin in October 2015. From this location, Finance Shared Services provides processing and expertise, in local languages, to Abbott divisions and affiliate companies across EMEA. The core services are in Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source to Pay and Master data management. The Financial Shared Services hub is part of Corporate Finance and has regional counterparts in the US and in Singapore.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a member of the Digital Solutions team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital & eCommerce Delivery, you will develop, execute and manage IT projects to enable our digital transformation. Responsibilities also include defining and driving social, mobile, web and marketing automation solutions to drive customer engagement.
The Scrum Master will work cross functionally through geographically dispersed teams to deliver next generation digital solutions at Abbott.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on Sprint goals, objectives and deliverables.
Partner with Business and IT leaders to drive digital business needs, use cases and prioritization.
Manage the delivery of a large portfolio of Strategic Digital projects with responsibility for Quality, Costs, Delivery and Risk.
Building a customer obsessed culture that focuses on customer success as its primary goal.
Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all project activities are performed.
Establish frameworks to track milestones, goals and objectives, communicate progress and help identify issues early on.
Be a Lead agent to drive Continuous Improvement with your Sprint team, in both Sprint process/ Way Of Working, and Sprint team productivity.
Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects, working with department and division management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
Measure project financials to ensure project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget.
Communicate project progress by producing Sprint KPI reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Executive Management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.
Provide Agile best practices across the organization .
Coach the Agile Delivery team.
Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based on their abilities.
Supervises, motivates and mentors cross-functional/cross-divisional Sprint team of developers, Business Analysts, QA & regulatory.

EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or PMI-ACP qualified.
Minimum 6 years experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development; preferred experience in delivering IT solutions in digital marketing, web design, mobile or interactive media.
Minimum 3 years of managing Scrum Delivery projects in digital in an enterprise digital and e-commerce marketing landscape.
Experience or familiarity with technologies and best practices in areas not limited to: webshops, Customer experience, CRM, marketing/sales automation, web content management, e-commerce, PCI, mobile solutions, social engagement, data driven marketing (DMP), and health care
Experience managing release cycles or programs involving multiple Scrum Masters and cross-functional development/testing teams.
Excellent track record in delivering complex and cross functional programs.
Strong Stakeholder management experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead geographically dispersed Agile Scrum teams.
Knowledge of software development practices (e.g. Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
Experience working in matrix global organization where success requires broad orchestration of resources and services.
Experience working in an FDA-regulated business (e.g. validated software related to medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences products) and PCI regulated business is preferred.
