The Role
In this role you will have direct impact on earnings corresponding to the support for the customers and the maintenance of our product portfolio. You will be promoting and supporting the organization's products across multiple channels in the Nordics and on regular basis support the Nordic operations that responds to enquiries of a product, technical or complex nature so that all enquires are resolved quickly and competently and in a manner which enhances the organization's internal and external customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Suppliers: continuous dialogue with our main suppliers regarding new launches, market needs, international regulations, and other commercial needs.
Important information needs to be reported into the business CRM system.
Be able to provide input on product selection when entering supplier contracts and portfolio maintenance.
Products: new product registrations (NPI), regular product master data update, recalls, product complaints, replacement products, expiration dates, input for warehousing, pricing, and approved product documentation etc.
1st party products are handled for all Nordic countries.
3rd party products are handled for all the Nordic countries (selected suppliers).
Each product specialist has their selected suppliers as their area of responsibility, but this can be changed accordingly to organizational needs.
Marketing: in collaboration with the Nordic marketing manager and the suppliers, local or Nordic marketing activities are based on the existing marketing plan / marketing strategy.
In collaboration with the Nordic web shop team, ensure that the correct products and approved product information from the suppliers is on our web shop.
Tender: assist the Nordic commercial team in tender responses regarding product selection/product specification and price level.
Product training: continuous training of commercial team, customer service and any selected customers as needed. Share and present approved training materials / presentations that salespeople can use when training customers and contribute to courses for larger customer groups.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of the in-vitro or medical technical device industry
- Proven firsthand experience within a customer focused commercial environment
- Excellent product and technical knowledge, keeping up to date with industry trends and software developments
- Good understanding of medical and diagnostic jargon
- IT/office tools, use of core functional processes (e.g. Outlook, CRM software, Diary Management, Concur, Workday, WebEx or equivalent)
- Customer focus: Clear customer focus, getting customers' requests completed and supporting problem solving.
- Proven strong listening abilities
- Excellent internal and external communication skills
- Excellent relationship capabilities, specifically within a commercial organization when facing customers, sales force and other internal services
- Project management capabilities
- Effective time & priorities management
- Fluency in a Nordic language, as well as English
